CITY IS PAYING A CASH CONSIDERATION
WHEREAS, WILLIE H. BROWN and HELEN D. BROWN have delivered to
the City a deed dated August 26, 1965, conveying an easement for
street purposes on the south side of Eighth Street, 100 feet east of
Pacific Avenue, in consideration of the sum of $1,805.00 and certain
remedial work to be done by the City; said transaction is to be
handled through Escrow No. 53756-C with Security Title Insurance
Company, Santa Ana, California; and
WHERF2%S, JUAN SALGADO, VICTORIA SALGADO, LUPE M. SALGADO, and
RACHAEL M. SALGADO have delivered to the City a deed dated August 21,
1965, conveying an easement for street purposes on the north side of
Eighth Street, 57.35 feet, more or less, east of Pacific Avenue, in
consideration of the sum of $3,100.00 and certain remedial work to
be done by the City; said transaction is to be handled through
Escrow No. 53763-C with Security Title Insurance Cempany, Santa Ana,
California; and
WHEREAS, RUSSELL LEVERN STEINMETZ and ROSE STEINMETZ have
delivered to the City a deed dated August 20, 1965, conveying an
easement for street purposes on the north side of Eighth Street,
241.35 feet, more or less, east of Pacific Avenue, in consideration
of the sum of $1,200.00 and certain remedial work to be done by the
City; said transaction is to be handled through Escrow No. 53766-C
with Security Title Insurance Company, Santa Ana, California; and
WHEREAS, FRED F. EVANS and ELSIE J. EVANS have delivered to
the City a deed dated August 20, 1965, conveying an easement for
street purposes on the south side of Eighth Street, 150 feet, more or
less, east of Pacific Avenue, in consideration of the sum of $1,500.00
and certain remedial work to be done by the City; said transaction is
to be handled through Escrow No. 53757-C with Security Title Insurance
Company, Santa Ana, California; and
WHEREAS, GREGORY N. CHAIREZ and ISABEL G. CHAIREZ have delivered
to the City a deed dated August 21, 1965, conveying an easement for
street purposes on the south side of Eighth Street, 50 feet, more or
less, east of Pacific Avenue, in consideration of the sum of $1,575.00
and certain remedial work to be done by the City; said transaction is
to be handled through Escrow No. 53755-C with Security Title Insurance
Company, Santa Aha, California; and
WHEREAS, CHABT~RS INGRAM and ROSA L. INGRAMhave delivered to
the City a deed dated August 21, 1965, conveying an easement for
street purposes at the southeast corner of Eighth Street and Pacific
Avenue, in consideration of the sum of $1,725.00 and certain remedial
work to be done by the City; said transaction is to be handled through
Escrow No. 53754-C with Security Title Insurance Company, Santa Ana,
California; and
WHEREAS, THELMA L. W~ILER has delivered to the City a deed
dated August 20, 1965, conveying an easement for street purposes on
the south side of Eighth Street, 200 feet, more or less, east of
Pacific Avenue, in consideration of the sum of $1,630.00 and certain
remedial work to be done by the City; said transaction is to be
handled through Escrow No. 53758-C with Security Title Insurance
Company, Santa Ana, California; and
WHEREAS, JOHN FUENTES and LEONARDA G. FUENTES have delivered
to the City a deed dated August 21, 1965, conveying an easement for
street purposes on the south side of Eighth Street, 250 feet, more or
less, east of Pacific Avenue,,in consideration of the sum of $1,795.00
and certain remedial work to be done by the City; said transaction is
to be handled through Escrow No. 53759-C with Security Title Insurance~
Company, Santa Ana, California; and

WHEREAS, LIBEBATO HOLGUIN, MARIE E. HOLGUIN, AMELIA HOLGUIN,
and LOUIS HOLGUIN have delivered to the City a deed dated August 24,
1965, conveying an easement for street purposes on the north side of
Eighth Street, 376.63 feet, more or less, east of Pacific Avenue, in
consideratioB of the sum of $2,140.00 and certain remedial work to be
done by the ~ity; said transaction is to be handled through Escrow
No. 53768-C with Security Title Insurance Company, Santa Aha,
California; and
WHEREAS, CRUZ R. RIOS, VICTORIA S. RIOS, JOHN S. DUARTE, and
CRUZ S. RIOS have delivered to the City a deed dated August 27, 1965,
conveying an easement for street purposes on the north side of Eighth
Street, 121.35 feet, more or less, east of Pacific Avenue, in con-
sideration of the sum of $1,920.00 and certain remedial work to be
done by the City; said transaction is to be handled through Escrow
No. 53764-C with Security Title Insurance Company, Santa Ana,
California; and
WHEREAS, JOSE M. LLAMAS and EUGENIA H. LLAMAS have delivered
to the City a deed dated August 30, 1965, conveying an easement for
street purposes on the south side of Eighth Street, 300 feet, more or
less, east of Pacific Avenue, in consideration of the sum of $2,105.00
and certain remedial work to be done by the City; said transaction is
to be handled through Escrow NO.53760-C with Security Title Insurance
Cempany, Santa Ana, California;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Mayor Pro Tempore is
hereby authorized to sign the Escrow instructions; that the City of
Santa Ana accepts said deeds, and Carl J. Thornton, the City's
designated agent, is directed to place his Certificate of Acceptance
on said deeds.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Ana at its regular meeting held on the 7th day of September, 1965.
