CITY IS PAYING A CASH CONSIDERATION
WHEREAS, ~OLLIE N. BALLARD has delivered to the City a deed
dated October 18, 1965, conveying a parcel of real property on
Sycamore Street, south of Walnut Street, for off-street parking
purposes at Fire Headquarters in consideration of the sum of
$18,750.00. Said transaction is to be handled through Escrow
Number 870559-hrb with First American Title Insurance & Trust
Company, Santa Ana, California.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: float the Mayor is hereby
authorized to sign the Escrow instructions; that the City of Santa
Ana accepts said deed and Carl J. Thornton, the City's designated
agent, is directed to place his Certificate of Acceptance on said
deed.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Ana at its regular meeting held on the 1st day of November, 1965.
