HomeMy WebLinkAbout65-182RESOLUTION 65-182 ORDERING VACATION OF STREET RIGHT OF WAY, kNOWN AS i,LANTLE STREET, SOUTH OF TWENTY-SECOND STREET ~{EREAS, on recommendation of the Planning Department and the Department of Public Works, Resolution 65-169 was adopted giving notice of intention to vacate certain street right of way and giving notice of public hearing thereon; and WXqEREAS, said public hearing was duly held on both published and posted notices as required by law and, after hearing, the City Council determined that said right of way should be vacated. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council of the City of Santa Ana does hereby find that that certain street right of way, known as Mantle Street, south of Twenty-Second Street is unnecessary for present or prospective street purposes and does hereby make its order abandoning and vacating that certain street right of way in the City of Santa Ana, County of Orange, State of California, described as: 'i~at portion of Mantle Street as shown on Tract No. 3902, recorded in Book 217, pages 15 and 16, Miscellaneous Maps, Records of Orange County, California, more particularly described as follows: Beginning at the Southwest corner of Lot 117 as shown on said Tract No. 3902 thence North 0° 08' 27" East 77.53 feet to a point of cusp with a non-tangent Curve concave North- westerly having a radius of 50.00 feet, the radial to said curve at said point bears South 37° 13' 36" East; thence Southwesterly along the arc of said curve through a central angle of 36° 58' 16" an arc distance of 32.26 feet to a point on a non-tangent line; thence South 0° 08' 27" West 67.19 feet; thence South 89° 42' 19" East 30.00 feet. PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana at its regular meeting held on the 6th day of December, 1965.
