HomeMy WebLinkAbout62-017RESOLUTION NO. 62-17 GRANTING VARIANCE NO. 1564 ON APPEAL APPLICATION NO. 51 FILED BY ' THE CITY . : COUNCIL . AFTER THE ZONING ADMINISTRATOR HAD DENIED A VARIANCE WHEREAS, after hearing on notice, the Zoning Administrator denied a Variance on Variance Application No. 1564, filed by WILLIAM WENKE and HARRY TANCREDI, which said Variance was requested to permit the use of the second floor of a building situated at 2006 North Broadway, Santa Ana, California, for a reading institute in the P (Professional) District; and WHEREAS, Appeal Application No. 51 was duly filed by' the City Council appealing the denial of the Variance by the Zoning Administrator; and WHEREAS, after hearing before the City Council, after careful consideration of the statements contained in and the materials accompanying the application, the testimony offered at the hearing, examination of all of the facts established, and after determining that said use requested by Variance Application No. 1564 meets the requirements of Section 9250.8 of the Santa Ana Municipal Code, it has been determined that said Variance should be granted, and that the Zoning Administrator should be overruled. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council of the City of Santa Ana hereby grants Appeal Application No. 51 and grants a Variance on Variance Application No. 1564 to permit the use of the second floor of the building at 2006 North Broadway, Santa Aha, Cali- fornia, for the purpose of conducting a reading institute therein. PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana at its regular meeting held on the 5th day of February, 1962.
