CITY IS PAYING A CASH CONSIDERATION
WHEREAS, RAY DeBROUWER and MARIE DeBROUWER have presented to
the City a deed dated January 4, 1962, conveying an easement for
street purposes on the North side of First Street, East of Verano /~'~'~'
Street, in consideration of the payment of $1,200.00. Said trane-
action is to be handled through Escrow No. 863778-HRB with Orange
County Title Company, Santa Ana, California; and
WHEREAS, QUINTON E. NEWTON and JANET L. NEWTON have presented
to the City a deed dated January 3, 1962, conveying an easement for
street purposes on the West side of Fairview Street, South of Ninth/~.~
Street, in consideration of the payment of $2,800.00. Said trane-
action is to be handled through Escrow No. 45976-C with Security
Title Insurance Company, Santa Ana, California; and
WHEREAS, R. G. MITCHELL and MARGUERITE E. MITCHELL, also known
as Margaret E. Mitchell, have presented to the City a deed dated J ~/~'-
January 31, 1962, conveying a parcel of real property for park site /~
on the South side of Fruit Street, East of Sherry Lane, in considera-
tion of the payment of $95,000.00. Said transaction is to be handled
through Escrow No. 863887-JL with Orange County Title Company, Santa
Ana, California.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City of Santa Ana
accepts said deeds and Carl J. Thornton, the City's designated agent,
is directed to place his Certificate of Acceptance on said deeds.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Ana at its regular meeting held on the 5th day of February, 1962.
