CITY IS PAYING NO CASH CONSIDERATION
WHEREAS, GARDEN GROVE SCHOOL DISTRICT OF ORANGE COUNTY has
presented to the City a deed dated December 11, 1961, conveying an
easement for street purposes on the Southwest corner of Newhope
Street and Sugar Avenue; and
WHEREAS, GLENN H. COPELAND and LORENA B. COPELAND have pre-
sented to the City a deed dated February 14, 1962, conveying an
easement for water main purposes on the East side of Berrydale Street,
North of Seventeenth Street; and
WHEREAS, THE GRISET FOUNDATION, a California Non-Profit
Organization, has presented to the City a deed dated December 19,
1961, conveying an easement for street purposes on the South side
of Edinger Avenue, West of Center Street; and
WHEREAS, HONER DEVELOPMENT CO., a corporation, has presented
to the City a deed dated January 19, 1962, conveying an easement for
street purposes on Buffalo Avenue, West of Flower Street; and
WHEREAS, SUNNY HOMES, INC. has presented to the City a quitclaim
deed dated February 13, 1962, quitclaiming to the City a parcel of
real property on the East side of Raitt Street, North of Edinger
Avenue, described as:
Lot A, Tract No. 2704, as shown on a map thereof,
in Book 116, Pages 19 and 20, Miscellaneous Maps,
of Orange County, California;
recorded
Records
and
WHEREAS, all of said deeds are without cash consideration being
paid to said grantors by the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: 'IQ%at the City of Santa Ana
accepts said deeds, and Carl J. Thornton, the City's designated agent,
is directed to place his Certificate of Acceptance On said deeds.
