WITH THE SANTA ANA UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT
FOR THE SALE OF REAL PROPERTY IN AMOUNT OF
$40,500.00 AND AUTHORIZING SIGNING OF ESCROW
INSTRUCTIONS AND THE EXECUTION OF A DEED
WHEREAS, heretofore the Santa Ana Unified School District
and the City of Santa Ana carried on negotiation regarding property
on the South side of Walnut Street, between Flower and Patton
Streets, and agreement was reached to employ Goode and Goode to
establish the value of said real Property, which value has now been
fixed and the School District has expressed its desire to acquire
the property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Mayor is authorized
for and on behalf of the City of Santa Ana to sign escrow instructions
and to execute a deed conveying the North 200 feet of Lots 28 and 29
of McFadden & Crain Addition to the Santa Ana Unified School District
for the sale price of $40,500.00, the City to pay customary seller's
share of all escrow and title costs.
