HomeMy WebLinkAbout62-074RESOLUTION NO. 62-?~ - ACCEPTING DEEDS WHERE THE CITY IS PAYING NO CASH CONSIDERATION WHEREAS, SOARD OF mXT -NSION OF S.OUT CALIFORNIA-ARIZONA ANNUAL CONFERENCE OF THE METHODIST CHURCH has presented to the City a deed dated August 1, 1961, conveying an easement for street purposes on the Southeast corner of Parton and Richland Streets; and WHEREAS, UNITED STATES OF AMERICA has presented to the City a deed dated March 12, 1962, conveying an easement for street purposes on the North half of Harvard Street, West of Fairview t Street; and WHEREAS WILLIAm4__ JOHN LARDER and MURIEL V. LARDER have pre- sented to the City a deed dated March 28, 1962, conveying an easement for street purposes on the South side of-Edinger Avenue, South of Rita Way; and WHEREAS W. F. CRODDY and MAURINE M. CRODDY have presented to the City a Quitclaim Deed dated March 29, 1962, quitclaiming an easement for pipe lines on the North side of Harvard Street, West of Fairview Street; and WHEREAS L. EARL P~ILLIPS has presented to the City a Quit- claim Deed dated March 19, 1962, quitclaiming a parcel of real property on the East side of Raitt Street, North of Edinger Avenue; and WHEREAS ALVA H. WILSON has presented to the City a Quit- claim Deed dated March 19, 1962, quitclaiming a parcel of real property on the East side of Raitt Street, North of Edinger Avenue; and WHEREAS, all of said deeds are without cash consideration being paid to said grantors. -1- NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City of Santa Ana accepts said deeds and Carl J. Thornton, the City's designated agent, is directed to place his Certificate of Acceptance on said deeds. PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana at its regular meeting held on the 2nd day of April, 1962. ATTEST: o?
