CITY IS PAYING A CASH CONSIDERATION
WHEREAS, VIRGINIA UNDERWOOD and LYDIA M. ABERNATHy, Guardian
of the person and estate of Lydia Ruth Kile, an incompetent person,
have presented to the City deeds, respectively dated April 10, 1962,
and April 12, 1962, conveying to the City a parcel of real property/
on the South side of Eighth Street, East of Garnsey Street, for
street and civic center purposes, in consideration of the payment of
$13,125.00 for the real property, plus $200.00 for moving expenses,
making a total of $13,325.00. Said transaction is to be handled
through Escrow No. 4~068-C with Security Title Insurance Company,
Santa Aha, California; and
WHEREAS, GENEVIEVE LOWE MARTIN has presented to the City a
deed dated March 22, 1962, conveying to the City a parcel of real
property for street purposes on Brook Street, East of Baker Street,_
in consideration of the payment of $600.00. Said transaction
Company, Santa Ana, California.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City of Santa Aha
accepts said deeds and Carl J. Thornton, the City's designated agent,
is directed to place his Certificate of Acceptance on said deeds.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Aha at its regular meeting held on the 16th day of April, 1962.
