HomeMy WebLinkAbout62-079RESOLUTION NO. 62-?9 ACCEPTING DEEDS AND INDENTURES WHERE THE CITY IS PAYING NO CASH CONSIDERATION WHEREAS, ROBERT A. SMITH and LOUISE I. SMITH have presented to the City a deed dated April 10, 1962, conveying an easement for street purposes on the West half of Cascade Street at Twelfth Street; and WHEREAS, RICHFIELD OIL CORPORATION, a Delaware corporation, has presented to the City a deed dated March 26, 1962, conveying an easement for drainage purposes at the Northeast corner of Bristol Street and Washington Avenue; and WHEREAS, C. W. TODD and FRANCES W. TODD have presented to the City a deed dated April 11, 1962, conveying an easement for water utility purposes East of Bristol Street along the North side of the Westerly extension of West Orange Road; and WHEREAS, PACIFIC ELECTRIC RAILWAY COMPANY, a California corporation, has presented to the City an indenture dated March 30, 1962, conveying an easement for street purposes on Fairview Street, South of Eighth Street; and WHEREAS, PACIF~ ELECTRIC RAILWAY COM~NY a California corporation, has presented to the city an indenture dated April 6, 1962, conveying an easement for street purposes on Susan Street, North of Talbert Avenue; and WHEREAS, all of said deeds and indentures are without cash consideration being paid to said grantors by the City. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City of Santa Ana accepts said deeds and indentures, and Carl J. Thornton, the City's designated agent, is directed to place his Certificate of Acceptance on said instruments. -1- PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa Aha at its regular meeting held on the 16th day of April, 1962.
