INTENTION TO VACATE A PORTION OF RIVERINE STREET
BETWEEN EIGHTH STREET AND TENTH STREET
WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors of the County of Orange,
State of California, has adopted Resolution No. 62-562 requesting
that that portion of Riverine Street lying between Tenth Street and
Eighth Street in the City of Santa Ana, California, be vacated and
abandoned.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the map attached hereto,
marked "Exhibit A", is hereby approved and ordered filed with and as
a part of this Resolution in the office of the Clerk of the Council,
and reference is hereby made to said map for particulars as to the
street vacation proposed herein; and the City Council hereby declares
its intention to vacate and abandon that portion of Riverine Street
in the City of Santa Aha, County of Orange, State of California,
described as:
That portion of Riverine Street as shown on a map of
Gardner and Moye's Addition to the Town of Santa Ana
recorded in Book 13, Page 24 of Miscellaneous Records of
Los Angeles County, State of California, bounded on the
North by the Easterly extension of the Northerly line of
Lot 12 and bounded on the South by a line parallel to
and distant Northerly 30 feet, measured at right angles
from the monumented center line of Eighth Street.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the hour of 7:30 P.M. on the
2nd day of July, 1962, in the Council Chambers, City Hall, Third and
Main Streets, Santa Ana, California, is the time and place fixed for
hearing all persons interested in or objecting to the proposed
vacation of said street.
The City Council declares its intention to proceed with this
street vacation under the provisions of the Street Vacation Act of
1941 (Sections 8300 through 8374 of the California Streets and High-
ways code).
The Clerk of the Council is ordered to publish this Resolution
in the manner prescribed by law for the publication of ordinances of

the City, and the Director Of Public Works is ordered to post notices
of street vacation conspicuously along the line of said street,
stating the passage of this Resolution of Intention to Vacate and the
time and place of hearing thereof. Said notices shall be posted not
more than 300 feet apart and at least three shall be so posted. Both
publication and posting shall be completed at least 10 days before
the date of said hearing.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Ana at its regular meeting held on the 4th day of June, 1962.
