JUNE 17TH THROUGH JUNE 23RD, 1962, TO BE
"CHAMBER OF COMMERCE WEEK"
WHEREAS, for many years there has been a Chamber of Ccm~merce
in the City of Santa Aha, and during the past twenty-five years our
local Chamber of Commerce has become increasingly active; has
experienced its growth which in recent years has exceeded the growth
of population in our City; has carried on the telling of the Santa
Aha story, and through its various committees and activities has
materially assisted in the selling of Santa Ana to industrial locaters;
and has generally increased its interest in and service to the
industrial, commercial and, by reason thereof, the residential
community which is Santa Ana, California.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council of the
City of Santa Ana hereby declares the week commencing on June 17th
and ending on June 23rd, 1962, to be "CHAMBER OF COMMERCE WEEK" in
the City of Santa Ana and calls upon all citizens of and persons in
the City to give special thought to and consideration of our local
Chan~ber of Commerce activities.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Aha at its regular meeting held on the 4th day of June,
