HomeMy WebLinkAbout62-115RESOLUTION NO. 62-115 ACCEPTING DEEDS WHERE THE CITY IS PAYING NO CASH CONSIDERATION BUT MAKING STREET IMPROVEMENTS IN CONSIDERATION FOR SAID DEEDS WHEREAS, ANTON H. SEGERSTROMt NELLIE RUTH SEGERSTROM~ HAROLD d~C~_ SEGERSTROM, HAROLD T. SEGERSTROM, JR., and VERONICA P. SEGERSTROMhave presented to the City four deeds dated May 15, 1962, conveying easements for street purposes located on the Northwest corner of New Talbert Avenue and Fairview Street; the Southeast corner of Harbor Boulevard and Talbert Avenue; the Southwest corner of Fairview Street and New Talbert Avenue; and on New Talbert Avenue between the Orange County Flood Control District channel and the Pacific Electric Railroad Right of Way, in consideration of street improvements at said locations to be made by the City. Said trans- actions are to be handled through Escrow No. 47826-C with Security Title Insurance Company, Santa Ana, California; and VERONICA P. SEGERSTROM have presented to the City a deed dated May 15, 1962, conveying an easement for street purposes located on the North- east corner of Harbor Boulevard and Talbert Avenue in consideration of street improvements to be made at said location by the City. Said transaction is to be handled through Escrow No. Title Insurance Company, Santa Ana, California; 47826-C with Security and WHEREAS, ROBERT E. JONES and ELIZABETH WELLS JONES have presented to the City two deeds dated June 8, 1962, conveying easements for street purposes for New Talbert Avenue, East of Harbor Boulevard, in consideration of street improvements at said location to be ~de by the City. Said transactions are to be handled through EscrOw No. 47827-C with Security Title Insurance Company, Santa Ana, California; and -1- WHEREAS, ANTON H. SEGERSTROM, NELLIE RUTH SEGERSTROMw HAROLD T. SEGERSTROM, VERONICA P. SEGERSTROM, HENRY T. SEGERSTROM, YVONNE dec SEGERSTROM~ HAROLD T. SEGERSTROM~ JR. and JEANNETTE E. SEGERSTROM have presented to the City a deed dated June 12, 1962, conveying an easement for street purposes on Talbert Avenue over 50 foot Pacific Electric Railroad Right of Way, East of Harbor Boulevard, in consideration of street improvements at said location to be made by the City. Said transaction is to be handled through Escrow No. 47826-C with Security Title Insurance Company, Santa Ana, California~ and WHEREAS, LAKEWOOD INDUSTRIAL CORPORATION, a corporation, has presented to the City a deed dated May' 15, 1962, conveying an easement for street purposes on the East side of Fairview Street from a point appr imately 660 feet South of Old Talbert Avenue to New Talbert t 17 Avenue and the North half of New Talbert Avenue from Fairview Street ~.~ to Greenville Street, in consideration of street improvements at h handled through Escrow No. 47828-C with Security Title Insurance ~,? ~ Company, Santa Ana, California. ~; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City of Santa Ana accepts said deeds and Carl J. Thornton, the City's designated agent, is directed to place his Certificate of Acceptance on said deeds.
