THE CITY IS PAYIN--~ NO CASH CONSIDERATION
WHEREAS, EDNA M. LEONARD and D. P. LEONARD have presented to
the City a deed dated July 11, 1962, conveying an easement for
surface drainage purposes on Westwood Avenue, North of Memory Lane;
and
WHEREAS, ~,__A_~ND_R.~..R_~B_B_0ERSMA and OPAL F. BOERSMA have presented
to the City a deed dated July 18, 1962, conveying an easement for 1~
sewer purposes on the North side of Botsa Avenue, East of Harper
Street; and
WHEREAS, KENNETH B..~RAWFORD has presented to the City a deed
dated July 21, 1962, conveying an easement for street purposes at I~
the Northwest corner of Eighth and Towner Streets; and
B. GUNTHER has presented to the City a deed ;~2~

a Georgia corporation, has presented to the City a deed dated July 18,
1962, conveying an easement for street purposes at the Southwest
corner of Standard and Chestnut Avenues; and

WHEREAS, IM~, ,NUEL BAPTIST CHURCH, a corporation, (now known ! ~
as STANDARD AVENUE BAPTIST CHURCH, a corporation) has presented to
the City a deed dated July 11, 1962, conveying an easement for street
purposes at the Southwest corner of Standard and Chestnut Avenues;
and
WHEREAS, ~MARGARET S. RAINBOLT has presented to the City a deed
dated July 21, 1962, conveying an easement for street purposes on I~
Posey Street, West of Newhope Street; and
WHEREAS, LODEWICES J. SCHOONDERWOERD and MARY E. SCHOONDERWOERD
easement for street purposes on Posey Street, West of Newhope Street;
and
WHEREAS, W!L~ON L~. R~_INBOLT and MARGARET S. BAINBOLT have
presented to the City a deed dated July 21, 1962, conveying an ease-
ment for street purposes on Posey Street, West of Newhope Street; and
WHEREAS, CHARLES DeWAYNE HULEN and CATHERINE L. HULEN have

ment for street purposes on the Bast side of Artesia Street, South
of Pine Street; and
WHEREAS, OLIVER L. CONNER and BEATRICE CONNER have presented
to the City a deed dated July 24, 1962, conveying an easement for I~
sewer purposes on the North side of Bolsa Avenue, East of Harper
Street; and
WHEREAS~_ ST. ALB, ANS IN~,ESTME~,T C~- has presented to the City
a deed dated July 12, 1962, conveying an easement for road and alley
purposes West of BroadWay, South of Halesworth Street; and
WHEREAS, O_,RANGE~.U~T.~.~.FLOOD CONTROL DISTRICT has presented
to the City a deed dated July 17, 1962, con~eying an easement for
street purposes for Fairview Street at its proposed crossing of the
Santa Ana River channel; and

WHEREAS, SHELL OIL COMPANY, a Delaware Corporation, has t~
presented to the City a deed dated July 17, 1962, conveying an
easement for street purposes at the Southeast corner of Seventeenth
Street and Tustin Avenue; and
WHEREAS, all of said deeds are without cash consideration
being paid to said grantors by the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City of Santa Ana
accepts said deeds and Carl J. Thornton, the City's designated agent,
is directed to place his Certificate of Acceptance on said deeds.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Aha at its regular meeting held on the 6th day of August, 1962.
