THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA TO
COMMENCEMENT OF PROCEEDINGS UNDER THE ANNEXATION
ACT OF 1913
W~EREAS, residents and property owners in the area lying
Westerly of the present Santa Ana City Boundary, both North and
South of Edinger Avenue, have requested that annexation proceedings
be commenced for the annexation of the territory by the filing of a
letter requesting the same; and
WHEREAS, a map and description of the boundaries of said area
have been presented to the Santa Aha Planning Commission for their
~consideration, and said Commission has reported to the City Council
recommending that said annexation proceedings be approved and carried
forward.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council of the
City of Santa Ana hereby consents to the commencement of proceedings
for the annexation of territory to be known as "HARBOR AND EDINGER
EAST ANNEXATION" in accordance with the map and description heretofore
presented to the Santa Ana Planning Ccmuuission and to this City
Council.
