ON CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT APPLICATION NO. 114
SUBJECT TO ONE CONDITION
WHEREAS, after hearing on notice, the Planning Commission
denied a Conditional Use Permit on Conditional Use Permit Appli-
cation No. 114, filed by BEATRICE HAMM and JAMES D. VANDERFORD to
expand their existing six-guest rest hc~e to a fifteen-guest rest
ho~e in an R-2 District and located at 2032 South Cypress Street,
Santa Aha, California; and
WHEREAS, Appeal Application No. 69 was duly filed by BEATRICE
HAMM and JAMES D. VANDERFORD requesting a hearing on said Conditional
Use Permit Application No. 114 before the City Council and appealing
the denial of said Conditional Use Permit by the Planning Commission;
and
WHEREAS, the City Council after public hearing on notice,
after careful consideration of the statements contained in and the
materials accompanying the Application, the testimony offered at
the hearing, the examination of all the facts established and after
determining that said Conditional Use Permit Application meets the
requirements of Section 9250.8 of the Santa Ana Municipal code, it
has been determined that the Planning COnUnission's decision should
be overruled and that said Conditional Use Permit should be granted
to permit the appellants to expand the existing six-guest rest home
to a maximum of a twelve-guest rest home.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council of the
City of Santa Aha hereby grants a conditional Use Permit on Conditional
Use Application No. 114 to permit the expansion of a six-guest rest
home to a twelve-guest rest home in an R-2 District on certain land
situated in the City of Santa Aha, County of Orange, State of
california, and described as:
Lot 21 in Block B of Tract 284, as per Map recorded in
Book 14, Pages 1 and 2 of Miscellaneous Maps, in the
office of the County Recorder of said County.
subject to one condition:

1. That said addition be according to revised plot
plan as submitted September 21, 1962.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Aha at its regular meeting held on the 1st day of October, 1962.
