PROPOSED REALIGNMENT (F MACARTHUR BOULEVARD AS A
COUNTY HIGHWAY
THAT:
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA,
Under the authority of Section 1700, Article 3, Chapter 9,
Division 2 of the California S~reets and Highways Code, State of
California, the Board of Supervisors of the County of Orange have
declared by resolution that the proposed realigr~aent of MacArthur
Boulevard, between Newport Avenue and South Main Street in the City
of Santa Ana, County of Orange, State of California, to be a County
Hlghway~
Under the authority of Section 1701, Article 3, Chapter 9,
Division 2 of the Streets and Highways Code, State of California, by
this Resolution, the city of Santa Ana, County of Orange, State of
California, does hereby consent that this highway, namely, the pro-
posed realignment of M~cArthur Boulevard between Newport Avenue and
South Main Street, shall become a County Highway with respect to its
construction, maintenance, improvement and repair;
The consent granted byPaz~a~h2 of this Resolution shall
remain in effect until the County of Orange, under the authority of
Section 1704, Article 3, Chapter 9, Division 2 of the Streets and
Highways Code, State of California, shall by resolution relinquish
its jurisdiction over said street, at which time said street will
again revert to the jurisdiction of the City.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Ana at its regular meeting held on the 15th day of October, 1962.
