CITY IS PAYING A CASH CONSIDERATION
presented to the City a deed dated October 30, 1962, conveying a
parcel of real property at the Northwest corner of Edinger Avenue
and Lowell Street in consideration of the payment of $15,000.00.
Said transaction is to be handled through Escrow No. 48461-C with
Security Title Insurance Company, Santa Ana, California; and
WHEREAS, CHARLES W. BISHOP and EVELYN M. BISHOP have pre-
sented to the City a deed dated October 29, 1962, conveying an
easement for street purposes on the West side of Orange A~nue,
North of Edinger Avenue, in consideration of the payment of $173.00.
said transaction is to be handled through Escrow No. 48526-C with
Security Title Insurance Company, Santa Ana, California; and
WHEREAS, LINNIE S. JENSEN has presented to the City a deed/~ ~
dated October 29, 1962, conveying an easement for street purposes
at the Southwest corner of Edinger and Orange Avenues~ in considera-
tion of the payment of $143.00. Said transaction is to be handled
through Escrow No. 48531-C with Security Title Insurance Company,
Santa Ana, California; and
WHEREAS, WILLIAM C. JEWELL has presented to the City a deed
dated October 23, 1962, conveying a parcel of real property on the
North side of Edinger Avenue and the West side of Baker Street, in
consideration of the payment of $14,500.00. Said Transaction is to
be handled through Escrow No. 3357-MKwith United Title Guaranty
Company, Santa Ana, California; and
WHEREAS, CF~RLES A. MacCRONE and MILD~n C. MacCRONE have
presented to the City a deed dated October 18,1962, conveying a parcel
of real property on the North side of Edinger Avenue, West of Rosewood
Avenue, in consideration of the payment of $13,750.00. Said trans-
action is to be handled through Escrow No. 3346-MKwith United Title
Guaranty COmpany, Santa Ana, California; and

WHEREAS, WILLIAM E. ARMSTRONG and FANNIE J. ARMSTRONG have
presented to the City a deed dated October 17, 1962, conveying an
easement for street purposes on the West side of Maple Street, North
of Edinger Avenue, in consideration of the payment of $117.00. Said
transaction is to be handled through Escrow No. 48478-C with Security
Title Insurance Company, Santa Ana, California; and

presented to the City a deed dated October 20, 1962, conveying a
parcel of real property on the North side of Edinger Avenue, West of
Parton Street, in consideration of the payment of $14,000.00. Said
transaction is to be handled through Escrow No. 48495-C with Security
Title Insurance Company, Santa Ana, California= and
WHEREAS, MALCOLM G. WALLEN and ELSIE M. WALLEN have presented
to the City a deed dated October 23, 1962, conveying an easement for
street purposes on the East side of Cypress Avenue, North of Edinger
Avenue, in consideration of the payment of $131.00. Said transaction
is to be handled through Escrow No. 48494-C with Security Title
Insurance Company, Santa Ana, California; and

to the City a deed dated October 18, 1962, conveying a parcel of real
property on the North side of Edinger Avenue, West of Van Ness Avenue,
in consideration of the payment of $22,000.00. Said transaction is to
be handled through Escrow No. 48485-C with Security Title Insurance
Company, Santa Ana, California; and
WHEREAS, ANTON H. SEGERSTROM, NELLIE RUTH SEGERSTROM, HAROLD T.
SEGERSTROM, VERONICA P. SEGERSTROM, HENRY T. SEGERSTROM, YVONNE deC.
presented to the City a deed dated october 22, 1962, conveying an
easement for street purposes on the North side of New Talbert Avenue
and the East side of Fairview Street without payment to grantors, but

with the City paying an estimated sum or $8,228.00 for street improve-
ments at said location. Said transaction is to be handled through
Escrow No. 47828-C with Security Title Insurance Company, Santa Aha,
California.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City of Santa Ana
accepts said deeds and Carl J. Thornton, the City's designated agent,
is directed to place his Certificate of Acceptance on said deeds.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana
at its regular meeting held on the 5th day of November, 1962.
