ALIGNMENT OF MacARTHUR BOULEVARD, MAIN STREET
TO NEWPORT AVENUE, AS SHOWN ON E~/~IBIT PPSA 4~4
WHEREAS, after a rerouting of MacArthur Boulevard and recommenda-
tion by the Planning Commission that a precise street alignment be
adopted by their Resolution No. 5589 after public hearing thereon; and
WHEREAS, after public hearing before the City Council on notice
required by law, said Council has decided that the recommended precise
alignment should be adopted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council finds and
determines that the public interest, necessity, convenience and general
welfare require that a precise plan of alignment of MacArthur Boulevard,
between Newport Freeway and South Main Street within the City of Santa
Ana, be and the same is hereby established, and said Council hereby
adopts the street alignment plan of said street as shown on a detailed
drawing entitled, "PRECISE ALIGNMENT (P.P.S.A.-04), MacARTHUR BLVD-
NEWPORT BLVD TO MAIN STREET, MAIN ST - MacARTHUR BLVD TO 729' NORTH",
copies of which said drawing are on f%le in the Department of Public
Works and in the Planning Department of the City for inspection by the
public.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana
at its regular meeting held on the 3rd day of December, 1962.
