C~LA;~fBER OF COF~MERCE OF THE CiTY OF SANTA ANA
WHEREAS, the Junior Chamber of Commerce has for more than
twenty years been an increasingly active organization seeking to
promote the economic and commercial well being of the City of Santa
Ana, and its members have originated, maintained and continuously
enlarged the Santa Annual Frolic as a means of publicizing the City
of Santa Ana and attracting people to the City; and
WHEREAS, in 1962, the Santa Annual Frolic contained gigantic
and unusual floats and attractions and was a televised event in the
Southern California area.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council of the
City of Santa Aha does hereby commend the Junior Chamber of Commerce
of the City for its enthusiastic, tireless and excellent group spirit
which produced an outstanding Santa Annual ~rolic and carried on the
other activities of this fine organization, and expresses its
appreciation for this valuable service to the City.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Aha at its regular meeting held on the t7th/d~ycf December, 1962.
