THE CITY IS PAYING NO CASH CONSIDERATION
WHEREAS, WILLIAM I. MILLER has presented to the City a deed
dated January 14, 1963, conveying an easement for street purposes
at the Northwest corner of Grand Avenue and Warner Avenue; and
WHEREAS, L. DORIS CHAPMAN has presented to the City a deed
dated January 11, 1963, conveying an easement for street purposes
on the East side of Bristol Street, North of Warner Avenue; and
WHEREAS, CHARLES E. M. SCHNEIDER and MARGARET M. SCHNEIDER
have presented to the City a deed dated January 5, 1963, conveying
an easement for street purposes on the South side of Edinger Avenue
between Raitt and Bristol Streets; and
WHEREAS, MICHAEL KRAGIE and BEA KRAGIE have presented to the
City a deed dated January 7, 1963, conveying an easement for street
purposes on the South side of Camille Street, East of Jackson Street;
and
WHEREAS, WILLIAM L. SCHOOLING and LENA ANN SCHOOLING have
presented to the City a deed dated January 7, 1963, conveying an
easement for street purposes on Toland Street, North of Kent Avenue;
and
WHEREAS, LOCAL #582 OF SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA OF THE UNITED
ASSOCIATION OF JOURNEYMEN AND APPRENTICES OF THE PLUMBING AND PIPE-
FITTING INDUSTRY OF UNITED STATES AND CANADA has presented to the
City a deed dated January 14, 1963, conveying an easement for street
purposes on the South side of Bolsa Avenue, West of Harbor Boulevard;
and
WHEREAS, RAILWAY EXPRESS AGENCY, INCORPORATED, a corporation,
has presented to the city a deed dated December 31, 1962, conveying
an easement for street purposes on the South side of Seventeenth
Street, West of Clinton Street; and
WHEREAS, SANTA ANA SCHOOL DISTRICT OF ORANGE COUNTY has pre-
sented to the City a deed dated January 9, 1963, conveying easements
for street purposes on the South side of Seventeenth Street, West of
Ross Street, without cash consideration being paid to said grantor,
but in consideration of the agreement hereby made that the City will
pay all costs of constructing new curb and gutter, sidewalk and
paving at ultimate location at such time as the street is widened by
the City; and
WHEREAS, all of said deeds are without cash consideration
being paid to said grantors by the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City of Santa Aha
accepts said deeds and Carl J. Thornton, the City's designated agent,
is directed to place his Certificate of Acceptance on said deeds.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Aha at its regular meeting held on the 21st day of January, 1963.
