HomeMy WebLinkAbout63-019RESOLUTION NO. 63-19 ORDERING THE VACATION OF AN UNNAMED ALLEY RUNNING NORTH FROM NINETEENTH STREET, WEST OF MAIN STREET, AND RESERVING A PUBLIC UTILITY EASEMENT THEREIN WHEREAS, on December 17, 1962, the City Council adopted Resolution No. 62-238 declaring intention to vacate the unnamed alley herein described and to reserve a public utility easement therein; and WHEREAS, on January 21, 1963, a public hearing was duly held on the question of said vacation on posted notices and on notice contained in the publication of said Resolution No. 62-238. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council hereby finds that the unnamed alley herein described is unnecessary for present or prospective street purposes and hereby makes its order vacating and abandoning for street purposes that certain unnamed alley in the City of Santa Ana, California, described as: An unnamed alley, being 12 feet in width, running North from the North right of way line of Nineteenth Street for a distance of 117.34 feet, the center line of which is 152 feet West of the West right of way line of Main Street. RESERVING AND EXCEPTING from said vacation a public utility easement for the use of the Pacific Telephone and Telegraph Company and the Southern California Edison Company to construct, place, operate, inspect, maintain, repair, replace and remove such aerial and under- ground telephone, telegraph, communication and power transmission structures as said Companies may from time to time require, consisting of poles, anchors, wires, cables, conduits, man holes, markers and necessary fixtures and appurtenances in all or any part of the area of said alley. PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana at ~its regular meeting held on the 4th day of February, 1963.
