GLENN H. COPELAND and LORENA B. COPELAND
IN CONSIDERATION OF STREET IMPROVEMENTS
WHEREAS, GLENN H. COPELAND and LORENA B. COPELAND have
presented to the City a deed dated February 5, 1963, conveying real
property on the East side of Fairview Street and the North side of
Seventeenth Street, without cash consideration, but An consideration
of work of an estimated value of $11,059.00 to be done at said
location by the City. Said work includes the construction of pavement,
curbs and gutters on the East side of Fairview (Berrydale) Street for
the full frontage, including the relocation of the fence to make a
street having a width of 52 feet to the existing center line, with the
exception that the width of the Northerly 75 feet of frontage shall be
only 50 feet, all as set forth in the Escrow Instructions. Said
transaction is to be handled through Escrow No. 49013-C with United
Title Guaranty Company, Santa Ana, California.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City of Santa Aha
accepts said deed and Carl J. Thornton, the City's designated agent,
is directed to place his Certificate of Acceptance on said deed.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Aha at its regular meeting held on the 18th day of February, 1963.
