SUBMITTING A BUDGET FOR EXPENDITURE
OF FUNDS ALLOCATED FROM THE STATE
HIGHWAY FUND TO CITIES
W~L~EAS, a master agreement has been executed by the City and
the State of California on March 17, 1961, for expenditure of funds
-1located from the State Highway Fund to cities; and,
WHat, AS, the City Council has prepared a project statement
show~ng estfm-ted expenditures of such Funds recoe~ended to be made
during the 1~63-64 Fiscal Year; and,
W~EAS, the City Council has heard read said project state-
ment and is familiar with the contents thereof;
T.~EFC~E BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the city of
Santa Aua that said project statement be and is hereby adopted as the
budget of proposed expenditures of the gas tax allocation to cities,
said project statement be and the same is hereby approved; and the
Director of Public Works is directed to sign the same on behalf of
said City, and said project statement to be submitted to the Depart-
ment of Public Works, State of California, in accor~-nce with the
provisions of Section 197 of the Streets and Highways Code.
