PORTION OF ARTESIA STREET, BETWEEN WILLITS
STREET AND WASHINGTON AVENUE, TO RAITT STREET
AND CHANGING THE NAPAE OF EVERGREEN STREET,
BETWEEN THIRD STREET AND CHESTNUT AVENUE, TO
STANDARD AVENUE
WHEREAS, it has been the City's policy to provide for the
continuity of street names so that confusion will not exist when
what could appear to be a continuance of the same street would
have a different name.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That ARTESIA STREET as it
exists between Willits Street and Washington Avenue in the City
of Santa Ana be and the same is hereby changed to RAITT STREET;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That EVERGREEN STREET as it exists
between Third Street and Chestnut Avenue in the City of Santa Ana
be and the same is hereby changed to STANDARD AVENUE.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Aha at its regular meeting held on the 15th day of April, 1963.
