RELINQUISHMENT OF TUSTIN AVENUE IN SANTA ANA
BY STATE HIGHWAY COMMISSION
WHEREAS, on January 7, 1963, the City Council of the City of
Santa Ana adopted Resolution No. 63-8 declaring its objection to
the California State Highway Ccmmutssion relinquishing portions of
superceded State Highway, VII-ORA-43-SA, which were parts of Tustin
Avenue, because said portions contained intersections which were
considered unsafe and without traffic control lights; and
WHEREAS, an Agreement has now been entered into for the
signalization of said areas and the reason for the protest has ceased
to exist.
NOW~ THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SANTA ANA: That said Council hereby withdraws its official protest
adopted by its Resolution No. 63-8 and its objection to the relin-
quishment of two portions of Tustin Avenue as State Highway and
hereby rescinds said Resolution No. 63-8.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Aha at its regular meeting held on the 6th day of May, 1963.
