THE CITY OF SANTA ANA E~PRESSING SUPPORT FOR
SENATE BILL NO. 778
WHEREAS, Senate Bill No. 778 would amend the Orange County Water
District Act to authorize the issuance of bonds upon the approval of a
two-thirds vote at a bond election held therefor, which authority may be
vitally necessary in the coming years to reserve and protect the water
supply in said District and to cooperate with other agencies in the
servicing of people within the District.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Santa Aha City Council
expresses its support for Senate Bill No. 778 and urges its legislators
and its Governor to support and work for the adoption of said Bill.
PASSED A~D ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana
at its regular meeting held on the 6th day of May, 1963.
