COUNCIL.OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA,
CALIFORNIA, REJECTING BIDS AND
ORDERING THE READVERTISING FOR BIDS
FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF CERTAIN WORK.

WHEREAS, this City Council heretofore adopted
Resolution No. 63-82 ordering certain work and directing
the Clerk of the Council to give notice inviting sealed
bids for the doing of such work; and
WHEREAS, sealed bids were filed with the Purchasing
Agent of said city and said Purchasing Agent has reported to
this City Council concerning the bidding; and
WHEREAS, certain errors were made by the low
bidder in the preparation of his bid and the City Council
deems it advisable to reject all bids and to order
readvertising for proposals or bids for the performance
of said work,
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of
Santa Aha, Californ%a, DOES HEREBY RESOLVE, DETERMINE AND
ORDER as follows:
Section 1. That all bids and proposals
received by the Purchasing Agent for the performance of
the work ordered by Resolution No. 63-82, be and the
same are hereby rejected, and the Clerk of the Council is
directed to return to each bidder whose bid is so rejected
the check or bond which accompanied his bid.
Section 2. The Clerk of the Council is
hereby directed in the time, form and manner provided by
law to publish and post notices inviting sealed bids
for doing of the work ordered by Resolution No. 63-82.
Ail bids shall be filed with the Purchasing Agent of
said city, and may be delivered to said Purchasing Agent
at his office in the City Hall, 217 North Main Street
in said city up to, but not later than 10:00 A.M. on
the ~_~_~day of June, 1963. All sealed bids s? filed
with said Purchasing Agent shall, in open sesszon, be
opened, examined and declared at a public meeting called
by said Purchasing Agent at the aforesaid time and place.
Said Purchasing Agent shall report the results of said
bidding to the City Council at its next regular meeting
after said opening of bids.
