AGREEMENT WITH THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA REGARDING
ALIGNMENT AND EFFECT OF THE NEWPORT FREEWAY
WHEREAS, a tentative agreement has been reached between the
STATE OF CALIFORNIA and the CITY OF SANTA ANA regarding the closing
and relocation of City streets, construction of frontage roads, and
other construction affecting City streets as the result of the
placement of those portions of Newport Freeway in and adjacent to
Santa Ana, which agreement has now been formalized as the Freeway
Agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA
RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: That the Freeway Agreement, referenced as
VII-Ora-43-SA Between the Santa Aha City Limit at Main St and 0.25
Mi. S. of relocated MacArthur Blvd., is hereby approved and the
Mayor and the Clerk of the Council are directed to execute the same
for and on behalf of the City of Santa Ana.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Aha at its regular meeting held on the 19th day of August, 1963.
