THE CITY IS PAYING CASH CONSIDERATION
WHEREAS, FELIX VALLIN and ~_ERT_HA V~.l.~ave presented to the
City a deed dated January 24, 1961, conveying an easement for street
purposes on the North side of Fifth Street, West of the Santa Ana
River, in consideration of the payment of $399.00. Said transaction
is to be handled through Escrow No. 45799-F with the Security Title
Insurance Company, 825 North Broadway, Santa Ana, california; and
~EREAS, LEON C. CARPENTER and ~LARCELLINE CARPE~JTER have pre-
sented to the City a deed ~a~ed.Januar~25, 1961, cgnveying Lot 24
of Tract ilO. 1550/ a~ shown on % Map recorded in Book 54, Page 15,
of ~4iscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County, California, in con-
sideration of the payment of $11,500.00. Said transaction is to be
handled through Escrow No. 45824-F with the Security Title Insurance
Company, 825 North Broadway, Santa Ana, California; and
~ER~AS, HENRY NEISHI, TOMOKO NEISHI, GEORGE NEtSHI, MASAKO
NEISHI and MASAJI NEISHI have presented to the City a deed dated
January 24, %961, conveying an easement for drainage purposes located
Northwest of Smeltzer Avenue and Harbor Boulevard, in consideration
of the payment of $2,237.28. Said transaction is to be handled
through Escrow No. 45213-C with the Security Title Insurance Company,.
825 North Broadway, Santa Ana, California; and
WHEREAS, ~?~.G. McCALLA and ~ ,L~.~.CH~.~1 have presented /3
to the City a deed dated January 23, 19~1, conveying an easement for
street purposes on the South side of Bolsa Avenue, East of Newhope
Street, in consideration of the payment of $977.00. Said transaction
is to be handled through Escrow NO. 45525-F with the Security Title
Insurance Company, 825 North Broadway, Santa Aha, California; and

January 14, 1961, conveying an easement for street purposes on the

North side of Bolsa Avenue, East of Verano Street, in consideration
of the payment of $669.00. Said transaction is to be handled through
Escrow No. 45763-F with the Security Title Insurance Company, 825
North Broadway, Santa Aha, California; and
WHEREAS, TOSHIO TANAKA has presented to the City a deed dated
January 14, 1961, conveying an easement for street purposes on the
North side of Bolsa Avenue, East of Verano Street, in consideration
of the payment of $416.00. Said transaction is to be handled through
Escrow No. 45764-F with the Security Title Insurance Company, 825
North Broadway, Santa Ana, California; and
WHEREAS, GLADYS Oi CR~..h~s presented to the City a deed
dated January 12, 1961, conveying an easement for street purposes on
the North side of Edinger Street, West of Fairvlew Street, in consid-
eration of the payment of $752.00. Said transaction is to be handled
through Escrow No. 45740-F with the Security Title Insurance Company,
825 North Broadway, Santa Ana, California; and
WHEREAS, SANTA ANA, C IFO IA, OF UNITED /3
ASSOCIATION OF JOURNEYMEN AND APPRENTICES OF THE PLUb~ING AND PIPE-
FITTING INDUSTRY OF UNITED STATES AND CANADA has presented to the
City a deed dated December 15, 1960, conveying an easement for street
purposes on the South side of Bolsa Avenue, West of Harbor Boulevard,
in consideration of the pas~ment of $2,010.00. Said transaction is
to be handled through Escrow No. 45598-F with the Security Title
Insurance Company, 825 North Broadway, Santa Ana, California; and
City a deed dated January 6, 1961, conveying an easement for street~'~t~/
purposes on the South side of Edinger,Street, West of Gordon Place,
in consideration of the payment of $580.0.0. Said transaction is to
be handled through Escrow No. 45669-F with the Security Title
Insurance Company, 825 North Broadway, Santa Ana, California; and

WHEREAS, FRANCIS E. PENHALL and RUTH E. PE~/~ALL have presented
to the City a deed dated January 5, 1961, conveying an easement for /
street purposes on the South side of Edinger Street, West of Greenville
Street, in consideration of the payment of.~$1,187.00. Said transaction
is to be handled through Escrow No. 45744-F with the Security Title
Insurance Company, 825 North Broadway, Santa Aha, California; and
WHEREAS, VON'~S. P~R~Qkt~.~, a corporation, has presented
to the City a deed dated January 5, 1961, conveying an easement for
street purposes on the South side of Bolsa Avenue, East of Verano
Street, in consideration of the payment of $1,380.00. Said transaction
is to be handled through E.~crow NO. 45624-F with the Security Title
Insurance Company, 825 North Broadway, Santa Ana, California; and
WHEREAS, PAUL K. TANAKA and MICHIKO TANAKA have presented to
the City a deed dated January 14, 1961, conveying an easement for
street purposes on the North side of Bolsa Avenue, East of Verano
Street, in consideration of the payment of $546.00. Said transaction
is to be handled through Escrow No. 45762-F with the Security Title
Insurance Company, 825 North Broadway, Santa Ana, California; and
WHEREAS, FRANK M. NAGAMATSU and YASUKO blAG~/4ATSU have presented
to the City a deed dated January 16, 1961, conveying an easement for /
street purposes on the South side of Bolsa Avenue, East of Verano
Street, in consideration Qf the payment of $423.00. Said transaction
is to be handled through Escrow No. 45742-F with the Security Title
Insurance Company, 825 North Broadway, Santa Ana, California; and
WHEREAS, GEORGE ~ ERU NAGm,~TSU and CHIYOKO NAGAMATSU have},
presented to the City a deed dated January 1~, 1961, conveying an
easement for street purposes on the South side of Bolsa Avenue, East
of Verano Street, in consideration of the payment of ~495.00. Said
transaction is to be handled through Escrow No. 45741-F with the
Security Title Insurance Company, 825 North Broadway, Santa Ana,
California; and

WHEREAS, F~{ANCES BETTENCOURT has presented to the City a deed
dated January 18, 1961, conveying an easement for street purposes on
the South side of Bolsa Avenue, West of Harbor Boulevard,. in consid-/ ~ J/
eration of the payment of $2,432.00. Said transaction is to be
handled through Escrow No. 45597-F with the Security Title Insurance
Company, ~25 North Broadway, Santa Ana, California; and
WHEREAS, FRANK M. NAGA~MATSU and YASU._K_O__N~.A._~_C~_~L%_T~U~.~a. ve presented
to the City a deed dated January 16, 1961, conveying an easement for ~ /~
street purposes on the South side of Bolsa Avenue, East of Verano
Street, in consideration of the payment of $2,071.40. Said trans-
action is to be handled through Escrow No. 45743-F with the Security
Title Insurance Company, 825 North Broadway, Santa Ann, California; and
WHEREAS, SANTA ANA SCHOOL DISTRICT OF ORANGE COUNTY has presented
to the City a deed dated December 13, 1980, granting two parcels of
real property located generally on the East side of Raitt Street, /~ ~
South of Delhi Road, in consideration of the payment of $94,945.00.
Said transaction is to be handled through Escrow No. 389993-LEE with
the Orange County Title Company, Santa ~na, California~a~ ~ ~'/~'~]
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: 'i~nat the City of Santa Ann
accepts said deeds and Carl J. ~t~nornton, the City's designated agent,
is directed to place his Certificate of Acceptance on said deeds.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa Ann
at its regular meeting held on the ~th day of February, 1961.
