CITY IS PAYING A CASH CONSIDERATION
WHEREAS, KIRBY A. FERGUSON and HENRIETTA K. FERGUSON have pre-
sented to the City a deed dated May 9, 1961, conveying a parcel of /~
real property on the West side of Patton Street, ~o~th of Eighth Street,
in consideration of the payment of $13,200.00. Said transaction is to
be handled through Escrow No. 46166-F with the Security Title Insurance
Company, Santa Aha, California; and
WHEREAS,.S...AMU.EL W. YES. SIS and TINA W. yESSIS have presented to
the City a deed dated April 10, 1961, conveying two parcels of real /~(~
property in the Civic Center on the East side of Flower Street, North
of Sixth Street, in consideration of the payment of $36,000.00. Said
transaction is to be handled through Escrow No. 46106-E with the Security
Title Insurance C~mpany, Santa Ana, California; ;and
WHEREAS, R~ A. SMITH and LOUISE .~MI~H have presented to the
city a deed dated May 8, 1961, conveying a parcel of real property on
Fairview Street, South of the Santa Ana River, North of Tract No. 2980,
in consideration of the payment of $8,200.00. Said transaction is to
be handled through Escrow No. 46210-C with the Security Title Insurance
Company, Santa Ana, California; and
May
3, 1961, conveying an easement for street purposes on the West side
of Berrydale Street, South of Seventeenth Street, in consideration of
the payment of $175.00. Said transaction is to be handled through
Escrow No. 46200-A with the Security Title Insurance C~mpany, Santa Ana,
california.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City of Santa Ana
accepts said deeds and Carl J. Thornton, the City's designated agent,
is directed to place his Certificate of Acceptance on said deeds.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Aha at its regular meeting held on the 15th day of May, 1961.
