THE CITY IS PAYING A CASH CONSIDERATION
WHEREAS, _J. SLAKE. WOOLB~IG~ and VERA JO WOOLBRIGHT have /~
presented to the City a deed dated June 1, 1961, conveying two
parcels of real property West of King Street, North of Ninth Street,
in consideration of the payment of $9,500.00. Said transaction is
to be handled through Escrow No. 46292-C with Security Title Insurance
Company, Santa Ana, California; and
WHEREAS, BOARD OF MISSIONS A~D.....CHURCH...~XTENSION.,,,,.,OF SOUTHERN,, ,, ,, /~
CALIFORNIA-ARIZONA ANNUAL CONFERENCE OF THE METHODIST CHURCH, a
corporation, has presented to the City a deed dated May 4, 1961, con-
veying real property in the Civic Center area on the Northeast corner
of Garnsey and Sixth Streets, in consideration of the payment of
$54,700.00. Said transaction is to be handled through Escrow No.
46211-A with Security Title Insurance Cc~pany, Santa Aha, California;
and
WHEREAS, MAXINE E. PEA~ has p~esented to the City a deed /~
dated May 8, 1961, conveying an easement for street purposes on the
West side of Fairview Street, South of First Street, in consideration
of the payment of $1,700.00. Said transaction is to be handled
through Escrow No. 46227-C with Security Title Insurance Company,
Santa Ana, California; and
WHEREAS, ORANGE COUNTY FLOOD CONTROL DISTRICT has presented
to the City a deed dated May 9, 1961, conveying a parcel of real
property East of Orange County Flood Control C-5 Channel, North of
Tract No. 2905, in consideration of the payment of $50,020.00 pursuant
to agreement made on the 9th day of May, 1961, between the Orange
County Flood Control District and the City of Santa Ana.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City of Santa Aha
accepts said deeds and Carl J. Thornton, the City's designated agent,
is directed to place his Certificate of Acceptance on said deeds.
