WHEREAS, GOODWILL INDUSTRIES filed application for Conditional
Use Permit NO. 43, which was denied by the Zoning Administrator;
was filed and the matter was heard by the
Appeal
Application
No.
22
City Council.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council finds
that said Conditional Use Permit should be granted to allow the
construction of a square roof structure, 100 feet on each side, for
retail sales on property located on the West side of Fairview Street,
510 feet to 652.7 feet North of West First Street, on the agreed
conditions that a board fence be constructed across the front of the
property as shown on new plot plans and elevations submitted to the
Council and upon the following conditions:
a. That the owner dedicates to the City a street easement
for the full width of the property involved in this
Conditional Use Permit along F airview Street, a strip of
land 52 feet in width, measured West of and at right angles
to the center line of Fairview Street.
b. That the owner dedicates to the City of Santa Ana all
vehicular access rights from this property to Fairview Street.
NOTE: Access can be determined and approved prior to
dedication.
c. That the owner construct sidewalk to City of Santa Ana
standards for the full width of the property involved in
this Conditional Use Permit.
d. That all requested deeds be prepared by a competent title
company on a City deed form and submitted to the Department
of Public Works.
e. That all the above conditions be complied with prior to
the issuance of a utilities release by the Building Department.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Ana at its regular meeting held on the 19th day of June, 1961.
