A G R E E M E N T
THIS AG22EK,,NT, made and entered into by and between the City
of SANTA ANA , a municipal corporation, located in the
County of Orange, hereinafter designated as "CITY", and the COUNTY OF
ORANGE, a body politic and corporate, hereinafter designated as "COUNTY",
W I T N E S S E T H :
WHEREAS, the COUNTY owns,.m�aintains and operates a co=runicati
system for public safety con=unications for police, fire and special
emergency services, and
WI-E,REAS, the, CMI desires the COUNTY to establish and maintain
remote dispatch facilities in and for the use of said CITY for police
purposes and is desirous of having same maintained under a licensed
supervising technician of COUNTY.
NOW, THEREFORE, for and in consideration of the mutual covenant
and promises of the parties hereto, hereinafter contained, it is mutually
agreed by and between the parties as follows:
1. (a) The COUNITY agrees to install and maintain base station
facilities for said system, and remote dispatch facilities for use by
said CITY for police purposes, including the necessary antenna or
antennas and the necessary structures therefor, to be operated by a
cormiiunications connection between cl, .I,y,S dispatch station and said County
communications center. COUNTY also agrees to install and maintain base
station facilities for fire radio service,, and special emergency radio
service limited to Civil Defense County -wide communication system and
lifeguard service.
(b) All labor costs of installation and maintenance of the
dispatch facilities shall be borne by the COUNTY.
(c) All equipment, material, apparatus and parts required
for use at the antenna site'shall be furnished by and at the expense of
the COUNTY, and shall remain the property of the COUNTY.

technician who shall! hold a validfirst-class radio telephone license
issued by the Federal Co=nnun:ications Commission, and said base and
mobile equipr,e:, . ILUrnisred pursuant to paragraph 1 (d) above shall be

3. Said remote dispatch facilities shall be in continuous
connection with the dispatching point of the County Cotiiri nz i cations
Center, whenever CITY provides office dispatchin g' personnel for a
