A G R E E M l; N T
THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this day of
19 , is
BY AND BETWEEN
and
CITY OF SANTA ANA, a municipal corperation,
hereinafter designated at "CITY",
COUNTY OF ORANGE, a political subdivision of the
State of California, hereinafter designated as
"COUNTY".
W I T N E S S. E T H
WHEREAS, COUNTY owns F-orrest Paull Park, at the intersection of Carden Grove
Boulevard and City Drive and immediately west of the SAnta Ana River hereinafter
referred to as "PROJECT"; and
WHEREAS, COUNTY, in conjunction with the development of said park, proposes
to enter into an agreement with City of Orange for construction of improvements to
Garden Grove Boulevard and traffic control signals and highway intersection lighting
at Lite intersection of Garden Grove Boulevard and City Drive; and
WHEREAS, the existing right of way of Garden Grove Boulevard is located
within City of Orange but COUNTY plans to widen the southerly half. of Garden Grove
Boulevard with a portion thereof located within the limits of CITY; and
WHEREAS, the southerly lei; of the traffic control signals and highway
intersection lighting will serve only COUNTY'S park;
NOW, THEREFORE IT IS AGREED by the parties hereto as follows:
I. CITY SHALL:
A.
Be and is hereby designated as the
"Responsible
Agency" pursuant
to the Guidelines
for Implementation of the C.E.Q.A.
of
1970 as amended.
B. Review and approve
the plains
and
specifications
as to design and
construction features effecting the
portion of
the
PROJECT within
CITY.
