THIS AMENDMENT, made and entered into this 21" day of November, 2000, by and between Mike
Linares, Inc. ("Consultant") and the City of Santa Ana, a charter city and municipal corporation duly
organized and existing under the Constitution and laws of the State,,,�,
q�"City"), collectively
referred to herein as "the Parties". �qj%y
R E C I T A L S
A. The Parties entered into that certain agreement entitled "Consultant Ag�eeme�t" dated September
11, 2000, hereinall-er referred to as "said Agreement", for the provision of housing and community
development related services;
B. The Parties hereto now desire to amend the compensation term of said Agreement in order to
compensate the Consultant for the City's increased usage of the Consultant's services under the
Agreement.
WHEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual and respective covenants and promises hereinafter
contained and made, and subject to all of the terms and conditions of said Agreement as hereby amended,
the parties hereto do hereby agree as follows:
Section 2, the "Compensation" term of said Agreement is hereby amended to reflect in increase in
compensation from $9,999.00 to $40,000.00 clue to an unexpected increase in the City's need for
the Consultant's services tinder said Agreement.
2. Except as hereinabove modified, the terms and conditions of said Agreement remain unchanged
and in full force and el`fect.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties hereto have executed this Amendment to said Agreement the
date and year first above written.
