PROHIBITING PARKING IN! ~XCEJS OF TWO HOURS ON THE NORTH SIDE OF WASH-
INGTON AVENUE ~ETWEEN MAIN STREET AND SYCAMORE STi~EET
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF TEE CITY OF SANTA ANA~ as follows:
That pursuant to the provisions of the Vehicle Code of the State of Calif~ nia~
Section 588 (d)~ and Section 3201 of the Santa Aha Municipal Code~ the City
Council hereby establishes parking limitations and regulations setforth in
Section 3216 of the Santa Aha Municipal Code~ establishing parking limitations
as follows:
WASHINGTON AVENUE
No person shall park any vehicle on the North side of Washington
Avenue between Main Street and Sycamore Street, and leave the same
so parked for a period of time longer than two hours~ between the
hours of 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. of any day, except Sundays and
holidays.
and the Director of Public Works is hereby directed to cause signs to be posted
along the above described street~ at least two to the block~ indicating such
p~rking limitation and prohibition.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That pursuant to the provisons of the California
Vehicle Code~ Section 21558 and the Santa Ana M~nicipal Code~ Sections 3201
and 3215~ 24-MINUTE. PARKING zones are hereby established as follows:
SYCAMORE S TP.V. ET
The West side of Sycamore Street between Washington aud Fifteenth Street
The North 42 Feet of the South 102 feet
and the Director of Public Works is hereby directed to paint the curb GREEN and
install signs for 24-Minute Parking to effectuate the regulation as hereinabove
described.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa Aua at its
regular meeting held on the 7th da~ of August 1961.
