THE CITY IS PAYING NO CASH CONSIDERATION
WHEREAS, WALTER R. ELLIOTT, AVIS F. ELLIOTT, ROBERT K. ELLIOTT
and EVELYN E. ELLIOTT have presented to the City a deed dated May 3rd,
1961, conveying an easement for street purposes on the North side of
Sugar Avenue, West of Harbor Boulevard, together with vehicular access
rights to Sugar Avenue excepting that portion reserved for driveway
purposes; and
WHEREAS, YGNACIO R. SORIA and ROSIE P. SORIA have presented to
the City a deed dated August 18, 1961, conveying an easement for street
on the East side of Newhope Street, South of Sugar Avenue, /~
purposes
together with vehicular access rights to Newhope Street; and
WHEREAS, A. H. ALLEN, also known as AUGUSTUS H. ALLEN, and
GEORGIA ALLEN have presented to the City a deed dated August 14, 1961,
conveying an easement for construction, operation and maintenance of j~
a traffic signal over three parcels of land on the Southwest corner
of McFadden Avenue and Grand Avenue; and
WHEREAS, all of said deeds are without cash consideration
being paid to said grantors by the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: ~hat the City of Santa Ana
accepts said deeds, and H. H. Foreman, acting City Manager and the
City's designated agent, is directed to place his Certificate of
Acceptance on said deeds.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Aha at its regular meeting held on the 5th day of September, 1961.
