CITY MANAGER OF SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA
WHEREAS, salaries in the city management field have continued
to increase throughout the entire California area so that now Santa
Ana is paying its present City Manager at a scale materially below
that of other cities having a population of one hundred thousand.
The City Council has determined that the Santa Ana City Manager's
salary should be brought more nearly into line with the norm for
cities the same size.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the salary for the posi-
tion of City Manager of Santa Ana, California is hereby fixed and
established at the rate of $1,850.00 per month.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That said salary shall be paid in the
same manner and at the same time as other monthly salaries of the City
are paid, and that said new salary rate shall take effect and be paid
from the 1st day of September, 1961.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana
