THE CITY IS PAYING A CASH CONSIDERATION

WHEREAS, CLARENCE F. JOHNSON and PHYLLIS E. JOHNSON have pre-
sented to the City a deed dated August 29, 1961, conveying a parcel
of real property on the West side of Patton Street, North of Sixth
Street, in consideration of the payment of $17,000.00. Of said amount
$16,500.00 is payment for the real property and $500.00 is payment for
furniture and fixtures. Said transaction is to be handled through
Escrow No. 46639-C with Security Title Insurance Company, Santa Ana,
California; and
WHEREAS, LESTER F. FELLERS and ID~AE FELLERS have presented
to the City a deed dated August 31, 1961, conveying a parcel of real
property located on the Northeast corner of Orange Avenue and Edinger
Avenue, in consideration of the payment of $10,500.00. Said trans-
action is to be handled through Escrow No. 46649-C with Security Title
Insurance Company, Santa Ana, California; and
WHEREAS, CHARLES A. BENNETT has presented to the City a deed
dated September 12, 1961, conveying an easement for sewer purposes on /~jl
the East side of Tustin Avenue, North of First Street, in considera-
tion of the payment of $1,600.00, being payment for damage to trees
located on said easement; easement being dedicated to the City for no
cash consideration. Said transaction is to be handled through Escrow
No. 46693-C with Security Title Insurance Company, Santa Ana, California;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City of Santa Ana
accepts said deeds, and Carl J. Thornton, the City's designated agent,
is directed to place his certificate of Acceptance on said deeds.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana
at its regular meeting held on the 18th day of September, 1~61./ l
