Attention: This email originated from outside of City of Santa Ana. Use caution when opening attachments or links,
Regarding Santa Ana Police Oversight Commission, Santa Ana deserves an apology from "Commissioner" LOL
Danny Vega and the entire "oversight" commission. Never did they contact me as I was submitting my police
brutality cases. Never could I trust them as an independent investigating arm of the City of Santa Ana. Never
did the police oversight committee offer me safety or cover or concern.
The entire commission is a farce, meant to keep covered the secrets and lies and the games of the politicians
who appointed them.
The only thing Danny Vega is there for is to cover for the corrupt and condemned mayor as the gatekeeper,
business as usual.
The Community is still not safe here, to be heard, to express and document their concerns and abuses as a
Sanctuary City.
"Social media page 'Neighbors of Santa Ana' is currently run by Danny Vega, a political puppet who is using the
platform to shield Mayor Valerie Amezcua from accountability. He is also actively serving as a Commissioner
for the Police Oversight Committee. He is abusing his position — both as Commissioner and as admin of such a
large community platform — to serve his political friends by hiding the truth from the group. We need to call it
out."

Community trust is at stake. Residents fought for nearly six decades for this commission, and jeopardizing it

Thank you for taking my call today and information regarding formal complaint against Santa Ana Police Oversight
Commission.
Santa Ana Police Oversight Commission has zero effect and undermines our safety when it's beholden to a condemned
mayor and a corrupt force. This complaint is lodged specifically against Danny Vega, Chairperson and Mayoral
Representative, in collusion with Valerie Amezcua.
-March 2024, citizen complaints began to be filed against Santa Ana Police.
-April 11, 2024 County of Orange fired. They have absolutely no jurisdiction over us.
-May 1, 2024 Mayor Valerie Amezcua is condemned by the Community.
-May 15, 2024, in retaliation, students, faculty and community members attacked at UC Irvine by Santa Ana Police
dressed up in SWAT costumes and lethal force, threatening to kill us
Police Oversight Commission guilty of
Stonewalling
Retaliation
Defamation of character
Secretive proceedings
They put their own commissioners in harm's way and attacked them publicly when two of them spoke out against the
police brutality at UC Irvine on 5/15/24.
