EAST OF MAIN STREET AND BEGINNING 170 FEET SOUTH
OF CENTRAL AVENUE
k~EREAS, at the request of Cal Enterprises, who report the purchase of ll lots in Block F herein referred to, and
on recommendation of the Planning Commission, conditioned upon the reversion of said Block F to acreage, and after
study, it has been determined that the reversion to acreage and this vacatign should be accomplished simultaneously.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City CouncL1 hereby adopts the map attached hereto, orders the same
filed with the original of this Resolution in the office of the Clerk of the Council, and reference is hereby made to
said map to graphically locate the alley proposed to be vacated.
The City Council declares its intention to proceed with this vacation under the provisiop-s of the Street Vacation
Act of 1941 (Sections 8300 through 8374 of the California Streets and Highways Code) to vacate that certain alley in
~the City of Santa Arm, County of Orange, State of California, described as::
Alley to the rear of lots 12 through 17 and Lots 18
through 23, Block F of South Santa Aha Tract as ~3r'
map thereof in Miecellaneou~ Maps, Book 5, page
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That Dec~A~her 18, 1961, at the hour of 7:30 P.M., in the Council ChamBers, City Hall,
Third and Main Streets, Santa Ana, California, is hereby fLxed as the time and place for hearing all persons interest
in or objecting to said vacation.
The Clerk of the Council is ordered to publish this Resolution in the manner prescribed hy law fc~ the publicati.
of Ordinances of the City, and the Director of Public Works is ordered to post notices of said vacation conspicuously
along the line of said alley, stating the passage of this Resolution of Intention to Vacate, am~ the time and place o:
hearing thereof. Said notices shall be posted not more than 300 feet apart, at least three shall be so posted, and
said posting shall be completed at least 10 days before the date of said hearing.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana at its regular meeting held on the 20th day of
November, 1961.
