QUITCLAIM DEED BY THE CITY OF SANTA ANA
WHEREAS, the Department of Public Works of the City of Santa
Ana has determined that the hereinafter described easement for sewer
right of way located Easterly from Hurley Street, North of Melric
Drive, is, in effect, used exclusively for a sewer lateral which
serves the property to the rear of the lots over which said easement
exists, and it has been determined that said easement should be deeded
to the owner or owners of the property served by said sewer lateral.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Mayor and the Clerk
of the Council are hereby directed to execute a quitclaim deed quit-
claiming to THE OWNER OR OWNERS AS THEIR RESPECTIVE INTERESTS APPEAR
OF RECORD that sewer right of way located Easterly from Hurley Street,
North of Melric Drive, and described as:
The Northerly 4.00 feet of Lot 86 and the Southerly. 4.00 feet
of Lot 87 of Tract NO. 3775, in the City of Santa Ana, County
of Orange, State of California, as per map recorded in Book 136,
Pages 13 and 14 of Miscellaneous Maps, in the office of the
County Recorder ~ said County.
Reserving unto the owners of property East of Tract No. 3775
(Thomas J. and Virginia M. Grafton and Preston C. and E. May
Stroud) an easement for sewer purposes over said land,
and deliver the same to said owners.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the city Council of the City of Santa
Ana at its regular meeting held on the 18th day of December, 1961.
