RESOLUTION NO. 60-99 APPROVING MAP AND DECLARING
INTENTION TO VACATE SULLIVAN STREET NORTH OF
FIFTH STREET.
WHEREAS, the Department of Public Works has recommended the
vacation of Sullivan Street as it exists North of Fifth Street;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the map attached hereto
marked "Exhibit A" is hereby approved and ordered filed with and as
a part of this Resolution in the office of the Clerk of the Council,
and reference is hereby made to said map for particulars as to the
street vacation proposed herein, and the City Council hereby der
clares its intention to vacate and abandon that portion of Sullivan
Street in the City of Santa Aha, County of Orange, State of Cali-
fornia, described as:
That portion of Sullivan Street as shown on a map of Tract
No. 633 in the City of Santa Ana, County of Orange, State
of California as per map recorded in Book 19, Page 4 of
Miscellaneous Maps, in the Office of the County Recorder
of said County, lying Northerly of the Westerly prolonga-
tion of the North line of the South 12.00 feet of Lot 13
in Block "C" of said Tract No. 633 and bounded on the
Northwest by the Southwesterly prolongation of the South-
easterly line Of Lot 16 in Block "C" of said Tract No. 633.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the hour of 7:30 P.M. on the
6th day of June, 1960 in the Council Chambers, City Hall, 3rd and
Main streets, Santa Ana, California, is the time and place fixed
for hearing all persons interested in or objecting to the proposed
vacation of said street. The City Council declares its intention
to proceed with this street vacation under the provisions of the
Street Vacation Act of 1941 (Sections 8300 through 8374 of the
California Streets and Highways Code).
The Clerk of the Council is ordered to publish this Resolution
in the manner prescribed by law for the publication of Ordinances of
the City, and the Director of Public Works is ordered to post notices
of street vacation conspicuously along the line of said street, stat-
ing the passage of this Resolution of intention and the time and place
of hearing thereon. Said notices shall be posted not more than 300
feet apart and at least three shall be so posted. Both publication
and posting shall be completed at least ten days before the date of
said hearing.
