RESOLUTION NO. . 60-10~ GRANTING VARIANCE APPLICATION
NO. 1327 FILED BY GERALD M. WEITZMAN WHERE CITY COUNCIL
MODIFIED RECOMMENDED CONDITIONS
WIqEREAS, the Planning Commission, after public hearing on
notice, has recommended that Variance Application No. 1327 should
be granted, and the City Council concurs, but has determined to
modify the conditions imposed.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Variance as rec-
commended in Santa Ana Planning Commission Resolution No. 5249 is
hereby granted to permit the construction of a two-story, 20-unit
apartment house, with 16 one-bedroom and 4 two-bedroom units on
property located at 1311 North Ross Street, Santa Ana, lying in
the County of Orange, State of California, described as follows:
The South 5 feet of Lot 22 and all of that portion of
Lot 23 lying West of Southerly extension of the East
line of said Lot 22 of W. W. Halesworth's second addi-
tion to town of Santa Ana~
AS per map recorded in Book 25, Page 91 of Miscellaneous
Records of Los Angeles County~
subject to conditions as follows:
That a solid 5-foot high block wall be erected
on the North to the front yard setback line and
2½-foot high from the front yard setback line to
the sidewalk.
That off-street parking be provided at the ratio
of one and one-half stalls per two-bedroom unit, and
one and one-quarter stalls per one-bedroom unit, and
that not less than twenty-five off-street parking
stalls be provided.
3. That the existing drive approach be replaced with a
standard approach.
That the development be in conformance to the plot
plan submitted, and that all carports be covered, all
driveways and access areas be blacktopped and that
any front parking areas be subterranean (insofar as
the building is concerned--underneath the building--
rather than in the front yard).
That all of the above conditions be complied with
prior to issuance of a utilities release by the
Building Department.
