CITY IE PAYING CASH CONSIDERATION, ONE GRANT DEED AND
ONE QUITCLAIM DEED WHERE CITY IS PAYING NO CASH
CONSIDERATION
WHEREAS, _EARL, LELAND EDNEY has presented to the City a deed /
dated May 18, 1960, granting to the City Lot 25 of Tract No. 1415 as
shown on a Map recorded in Book 42, Pages 29,30 and 31 of Miscellaneous
Maps, Records of Orange County, California, in consideration of
$12,000.00. Said property is located on the Northeast corner of
Edinger and Baker Streets; and
WHEREAS, ARTHUR L. RASMUSSEN, HAROLD O. RASMUSSEN, ALVIN /~
RASMUSSEN, HILGA JOHNSON and LILLIAN WILKIE have presented to the City
a deed dated April 15, 1960, granting to the City a parcel described
as follows:
Beginning at a point on the West line of Garnsey Street
255 feet South of the South line of Hickey Street; thence
West 125 feet; thence South 50 feet; thence East 125 feet;
thence North 50 feet to the point of beginning,
in consideration of $10,500.00. Said property is located in the
Civic Center area; and
WHEREAS, THE FIRST FREE METHODIST CHURCH OF SAN'£A ANA, a
religious corporation, has presented to the City a deed dated
January 11, 1960, granting street easement on the East side of Bristol
Street, South of Eighth Street, in consideration of the payment of
$750.00; and

s presented to the City a deed dated June 3, 1960, granting street
easement on the North side of Fifth Street and on the East side of
King Street, for no cash consideration; and
WHEREAS, ..~LORENCE PILCH has presented to the City a deed dated/~/~
April 5, 1960, conveying an easement for water main purposes on the
South side of Westminster Avenue, East of Harbor Boulevard, in con-
sideration of $140.00; and

WHEREAS, GOODWILL INDUSTRIES OF ORANGE COUNTY, a corporation, /~/~
has presented to the City a deed dated May 25, 1960, conveying street
easement on the South side of Fifth Street, West of Fairview, in con-
slderation of $490.00; and
WHEREAS, HOWARD J. HALES and ELOISE J. HALES, and PAUL WALKER /2 /
HALES and BARBARA D. HALES have presented to the City a deed dated
May 20, 1960, conveying street easement on the North side of Fifth
Street, East of Sullivan, in consideration of the payment of $9817.00;
and whereas, JAMES C. ~ERRYMAN and MILDRED BERRYMAN have presented to/~/~
the City a Quitclaim deed dated March 14, 1960, conveying their interest
in said property without cash consideration; and
WHEREAS, ALAN H. HADELL and FRANK HADELL have presented to the/~
City a deed dated May 27, 1960, granting street easement on the East
side of Main Street, North of Edgewood Road, for no consideration for
said land, but for the payment of $6,470.00 for cost of relocation of
service station pumps, tanks, etc., and moving all existing improvements
from the right of way now being acquired by the City, and all damages
in connection therewith, if any.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City accepts said
deeds and Carl J. Thornton, the City's designated agent, is directed
to place his Certificate of Acceptance on said deeds.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa Aha
at its regular meeting held on the 6th
