CITY IS PAYING CASH CONSIDERATION
WHEREAS, HENRY ANGELSEN has presented to the City a deed
dated August 4, 1960, conveying Lot 1 of Visel's Addition to the
Town of Santa Ana as shown on a map recorded in Book 3, Page 17 of
Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County, California, excepting
therefrom the South 52.65 feet, in the City of Santa Ana and located
in the Civic Center area on the Southeast corner of Eighth and
Garnsey Streets, in consideration of the payment of $13,075.00; and
WHEREAS, S. N, S. BUILDERS, a joint venture composed of Harry /~.
K. Stanley, William G. Sommerville and Irwin B. Newhouse, has presented
to the City a deed dated July 27, 1960, granting Lots 10 and 11 of
Tract No. 3737, as shown on a Map recorded in Book 132, Pages 26 and
27 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County, California, in
consideration of the payment of $10,000.00. (Refer to Res~No. 60-128)
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City of Santa Ana
accepts said deeds and Carl J. Thornton, the City's designated agent,
is directed to place his Certificate of Acceptance on said deeds.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Aha at its regular meeting held on the 15th day of August, 1960.
