HomeMy WebLinkAbout60-188RESOLUTION NO. 60-188 DECLARING INTENTION TO ELIMINATE ONE-WAY TRAFFIC ON SYCAMORE STREET AND DIRECTING THE CITY MANAGER TO TAKE NECESSARY ACTION WHEREAS, Council has determined that Sycamore Street as carrying traffic in a Northerly direction only, the best interests of the community; and after much discussion and consideration, the City it now exists, is not serving NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That Carl J. Thornton, the City Manager, is hereby directed to take necessary steps to elim- inate the one-way traffic pattern on Sycamore Street from McFadden Avenue on the South to Seventeenth Street on the North, and to establish the two-way traffic pattern in said area within sixty days. PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana at its regular meeting held on the 19th dayofSeptember, 1960.
