THE CITY COUNCIL OF SANTA ANA TO COmmENCEMENT OF
PROCEEDINGS UNDER THE At~NEXATION ACT OF 1913
WHEREAS, residents and property owners in the area lying
Northeasterly of the present Santa Ana City boundaries have filed a
request that this City consent to the initiation of proceedings for
annexation as required by Section 35106 of the Government Code; and
WHEREAS, a map and description of the boundaries of said area
have been presented to the Planning Commission of the City of Santa
Ana for their consideration, and said Planning Commission has reported
to this City Council and has recommended that said annexation be con-
sented to and approved by this City Council.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council of the
City of Santa Ana hereby consents to the commencement of proceedings
for the annexation of territory to be known as "Vanderlip and Newport
Northwest Annexation", in accordance with the map and description
heretofore presented to the Santa Ana Planning Commission and to this
City Council.

at its adjourned regular meeting held on the 15th day of November, 1960.
