HomeMy WebLinkAbout60-265RESOLUTION NO. 60-~6~: AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC WORKS TO ACCEPT A LICENSE TO CONSTRUCT, ~.~L%INTAI~ AND OPERATE A 3~-INCH CORRUGATED ~LETAL PIPE STOPa4 DRAIN BENEATH THE TRACKS AND/OR RIGHT- OF-WAY OF THE PACIFIC ELECTRIC RAILWAY COi~PANY BETWEEN BRISTOL AND ~'~L%IN STREETS ?~EREAS, the City of Santa Ana desires to construct and maintain a storm drain beneath the tracks and/or right-of-way of the Pacific Electric Railway Company, a corporation, between Bristol and Main Streets in the City of Santa Aha, in order to provide for the drainage of surface water; and WHEREAS, on the 21st day of November, 1960, the Pacific Electric Railway Company offered a license to the City for the construction of such a storm drain. Said license was offered without monetary consideration. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Director of Public Works, Mr. Hugh H. Foreman, is hereby authorized to accept said offer and to execute the license agreement with the Pacific Electric Railway Company. PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana at its regular meeting held on the 19th day of December, 1960.
